Shay (Shy) Keil

Shay (pronounced “Shy”) joined Scotiabank in 1991 and has held increasing roles throughout the organization over the years. He has been recognized by ScotiaMcLeod with many honours including the National Rookie of the Year award in 2004 and ScotiaMcLeod Austin Taylor Award in 2010. In addition, in 2008 Shay formed the Keil Investment Group within ScotiaMcLeod.

Beyond work, Shay is very active in the sporting activities of his wife and two children and he enjoys skiing and golfing. Shay is also spends considerable amounts of time working with charities – both of his time and money. In addition, Shay sponsors several charitable events throughout the year.

 

Vilma Castellani

Vilma has been in the investment industry since 1993 and has been with ScotiaMcLeod since 2003. As an associate with the Keil Investment Group, she is fully licensed to advise clients on specific investment recommendations as well as overall portfolio construction. In addition, as one of our insurance specialists, she is fully licensed to work with our individual and corporate clients on various insurance solutions using any of the largest insurance carriers.

Angela has spent the majority of her career with the Scotiabank group of companies joining ScotiaMcLeod in 1997. This hands-on expertise is backed by impressive academic achievements earning a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Along with Shay, Angela is insurance licensed, and works closely with him to deliver exceptional service and customized financial solutions.

Angela is married and has a 3 year old daughter and two beagles. She curls in her spare time, studies Mandarin, travels, plays piano and enjoys fine wines.

Cheryl Lafleur

Cheryl has been in the investment industry since 1996 and with ScotiaMcLeod since 2012. Cheryl oversees administrative operations focusing on client service and account administration.

Jacqueline Knowles

Jacqueline has worked for eight years in the financial services industry, creating in-depth customized financial plans, and providing comprehensive advice for clients.

As a graduate of British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), she has an education in Financial Management, with a concentration in Financial Planning.

Using a disciplined and analytical planning process, Jacqueline can work with you to develop a highly customized and comprehensive financial plan. As part of this planning process, Jacqueline explores relevant financial, retirement, tax, will and estate strategies. Your financial plan will identify specific gaps and opportunities to help you establish and achieve your goals in line with your priorities.

Monique Trépanier

Monique is responsible for providing estate planning guidance to Estate and Trust clients. Prior to joining Scotia Wealth Management, she practiced law for several years at a large firm in Vancouver, specializing in the areas of wills and estates law, charity law and corporate commercial law. Monique is focused on helping affluent clients build, preserve and transfer their wealth. She creates integrated wealth management solutions that incorporate investment management, estate and trust services and private banking.

Estate and trust services are provided by The Bank of Nova Scotia Trust Company.

Anthony Windeyer

Anthony has worked in financial planning for over 20 years. This broad understanding of financial planning products and strategies combined with his many years of experience allows him to seamlessly integrate insurance product solutions that greatly enhance clients overall financial situation.

Anthony believes that helping our clients with their insurance needs is a sacred trust.

His goal is to always provide our clients the very best in the way of advice, service, and insurance related product solutions, available anywhere in the financial services industry today.

Tricia McIver

Tricia is a trusted and highly experienced consultant to accomplished business owners and affluent families on matters associated with transition and wealth. She helps guide families through the unique opportunities and challenges they may be facing in the areas of wealth, tax strategies and estate planning, philanthropy, family governance and business succession planning by taking time to thoroughly understand specific goals and objectives.

When dealing with business owners, Tricia helps ensure that personal and business goals are aligned by examining the entire financial situation—including the interaction between family, business and ownership structures for today—and with a future transition in mind.

Gagan Grewal

Gagan is an expert in crafting custom credit solutions and providing access to capital through the leverage of clients’ existing assets and investment portfolios. Gagan and his team take pride in assisting their clients grow wealth; they also endeavor to provide a high level of personalized client banking service to save clients time and reduce their overall financial risk.
